Hubbocks

Inspired by a lamp stand made in ‘the brickyard at Brill’ by Thomas Hubbocks in 1861. The Hubbocks family were a mainstay of Brill pottery, first recorded in 1766 and throughout the 19th century. Our lampstand fits dinner candles between 2cm and 2.5cm in diameter.

- Simple in design and minimal in decoration.
- Handthrown on a pottery wheel.
- Commoner ‘Osbert’ stamp on base.
